E key not working properly on Mac Air

Hi, I have a Macbook Air and currently the e key is not working as it should -- I've reviewed the documentation regarding this but I think this is a particular case, the key only works if I press extra hard on it, I've restarted my Mac and updated it without any luck. No water damage either it stopped working randomly. Any thoughts?
