Date not changing at midnight on watch 4

The watch should follow the time, date, and time zone on your iPhone. Check the phone's setup, probably automatic on all counts.

Also check your watch doesn't have its display time set ahead. Settings, Time on your watch.

Then I would unpair the Watch, and then re-pair the watch and phone, first setting it up as a new device and test.

Posting with 20 minutes in hand... the other thing to notice if possible, what is the error in date rollover? If it is an exact hour that would suggest time zone. If some odd number if minutes I don’t have a clue. Also watch the date rollover on your iPhone, does it have the same glitch but you never noticed?

Yes, but you use the crown. However, as indicated earlier, the time/date settings on the watch are synced from the iPhone, which is normally set to automatic for the setting to come from your carrier's cell tower.

Do you have any idea when it does change if you don’t provoke it? Or is it still stuck when you wake in the morning?

Try switching to a different watch face? Maybe something is corrupt...

You sure about that? If I go on the Watch to Settings>Time, I get the option to set the time ahead.
