Calendar Date Not Syncing

Yep, exact same problem.

Symptoms: watch on wrist shows yesterday’s date. Take off wrist to lock, tap to view infograph and the current date is displayed while locked. Return watch to wrist, unlock and yesterday’s date is back. Workaround: switch to another face then switch back and now correct date displayed.

I spoke to Tech Support yesterday. Their suggestion is to unpair your watch then re-pair it thru the watch app. I did this yesterday and the date is correct today. Still an annoyance, but unpair/re-pair seemed to work. It should be a one time thing to fix this issue.

Exactly my experience, as well. Interestingly enough, the correct date shows everywhere else (within the calendar itself, on the sleep time/date screen, absolutely everywhere) except on the face/complication of the watch itself. I am confident this will be addressed and resolved in the next software update, but an annoyance for now.

Hi, I am having the problem on my watch. Is it still a problem for you guys? I’m still at on watch os 5.0, don’t want to go to 5.0.1 because of problems with exercise ring. Did 5.0.1 address the problem?

It’s just a workaround not a fix. Hopefully, Apple will address this soon.
