My AOL/Verizon email on my iphone keeps deleting and reloading?

My Iphone 6S is running AOL/Verizon email as one of my email accounts. I'm using OS 11.4.1. The past few days when I go to check emails, it keeps reloading them, and sometime I find "None" then goes through a reload phase again. It's very annoying. I did a reset (turn off phone) and still persists. Anyone have a suggestion?

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. It's important for email to work correctly. I can help with this. If the email on your iPhone isn't loading correctly and you've already restarted your phone, you have another option. I suggest removing the account and adding it back to see if this fixes the issue. Here are the steps for this.

If you can’t send or receive emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Remove your email account and set it up again

On your computer, sign in to your email provider’s website. Make sure that all of your email is there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your iOS device.

On your iOS device, go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts.

Tap the email account that you want to remove.

Tap Delete Account.

Add your account again.
