Hi - itunes 12.8 is wonky - it's not allowing me to upload artwork and or make changes to any of the data fields (or rather it will allow me to make changes, but reverts to original information).
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2016, 4 TBT3), iOS 10.3.3
Make sure that your profile has full read and write permissions to the iTunes folder and all subfolders. Use Get Info on the iTunes folder in Finder. Click the lock at the bottom right to make changes. Make sure that locked isn't ticked and that your own account has read & write access, then use the gear icon to apply the permissions to enclosed items and confirm.
If your iTunes Media folder is not stored inside the iTunes folder repeat the same steps for iTunes Media.

The tracks aren't in .wav format are they? You cannot add art to those as there is no tag.

Tried that, still not accepting artwork.
It is accepting some changes (Genre, Album Artist), but not artwork.
It has something to do with the latest update in iTunes, I think.

nope mp3...I remember this happening several versions ago..6.0 or something. Hopefully Apple will issue an update to fix bug shortly....
