I was looking at a mastering tutorial on Itunes. The guys mentioned using the AU peak limiter
but I can't find it on my version which is 10.3.1. I can't find where to access it or maybe it
is not on this version. Can anyone help please? Mal

GB has been installed on all of our machines since 2004, so it IS possible that the legacy plug-ins came from an older version, but if you have them, the above is where to find them.
See how he circled plugins once you click on it the arrow will point down and a few plugins in blue will show hover over the bottom with the mouse a thin blue line will appear. Click on it then you will see the black menu. Go down to audio units to the arrow which will lead to apple follow the arrow to AU PEAK METER
I found the au peak limiter. Great. I still think my version is a little different.
One last thing. Is it possible to download a new version of GB if you have
older one alread in place. Will the songs be adopted by new version?

newer versions of GB have always been able to open projects from older versions, we've opened projects saved with version 2 in version 10 here many times
I just had to reinstall GB and had the same problem at the top it said no plugins, so I could not see my Apple Au plugs. What I did was reinstall a few free plugins [Klanghelm.com] then I had access to Apple AU"s again. Try installing a free plugin and it should show weird I know yet it worked
I did find it eventually though it was pretty well hidden and not where the you tube tutorial I was following said it would be. Thanks.
