I got my new phone and was so excited
And soon discovered my cell service is horrible now I have only one bars of service in places where i had 4 bar and speed a lot slower
I sure hope they can fix this soon ugh

You may want to return it for a replacement. The cellular service should not be significantly different than on previous models. I have the iPhone Xs and cell service is fine. If you purchased directly from Apple Store or Apple Store online, there is a 14 day return policy. If you purchased through a carrier or elsewhere, check with them. I have replaced my phone to see if that was the issue, it’s not unfortunately.
iOS 12.1 made my speed even slower on LTE and my Wi-Fi is very unreliable now I was really hoping that it was going to fix the problem ugh not sure if there still trying to fix it
Just did upgrade
No impact on weak cell signal
Looks like 5% loss on WiFi download
But fixed issues with WiFi slow upload
Poor cell signal on new iPhone xs max
