I am trying to upgrade my 2018 MacBook Pro 15" from High Sierra to Mojave, but it says "An error occurred installing macOS" at the very end of the installation. I got this MacBook Pro about a month ago. How can I update to Mojave successfully?

I don't have an USB-C to ethernet adapter and don't want to buy one because of a bug Apple made. Hope Apple will take this issue seriously and release an update soon. 😠
I don't know what the issue is but I do know I installed Mojave on 5 different Macs over WiFi without a problem.
2018 MacBook Pro? I didn't have any problems updating my MBA and iMac. Had issues with 2018 MBP.
No, two iMacs, an iMac Pro, a MacBook Air and a MacBook. What I find interesting is so many different solutions work.
SMC reset did not work. Early 2013 MacBook Pro.

I have the same problem with this update 2 for Sierra 13.6. "bridgeOS update prepare failed"
I can't install update 2 and new system operation :-(
I solved it by creating a new user and then turning on the firewall which was off.
I have the exact same problem. So far nothing has helped. Tried resetting SMC and re-downloading and installing but get the same error message with 15-seconds left to complete.
