Apple's Moral Standards
Tekashi 6ix9ine is an artist, convicted child predator and registered sex offender who's music is being pushed to Apple Music listeners at an alarming rate. Every time his songs are streamed by an apple music user, tekashi 6ix9ine gets paid money by apple.
This means that apple music is allegedly, directly financially supporting a convicted child predator and registered sex offender (Tekashi 6ix9ine).
Despite my extensive efforts of deleting and disliking his music, I cannot prevent tekashi 6ix9ine music from being suggested for me and being added to my playlists and played on apple radio. His songs are constantly being streamed to my phone and re-added to my playlists when I am using apple music.
I have a moral objection to being forced by apple to contribute to financially supporting a convicted child predator and registered sex offender. I never want to see this artists name on my apple music ever again. I feel like this should be a simple and clear issue for Apple and I am hoping they do not want to be know as a company who pays a convicted child predator and registered sex offender hundreds of thousands of dollars. Is there any way I can permanently ban the entire present, and future works, of an artist from my apple music account? I do not want to be able to be forced by apple music to contribute to the amount of streams this artist receives. Unless Apple creates a solution that prevents Tekashi 6ix9ine from being payed, then I think it is everyone's moral obligation to do what they can to preventing apple from profiting off of financially supporting a convicted child predator and registered sex offender.
