Airplay Device no longer compatible with iTunes after upgrade

I am playing iTunes on my laptop (Windows 10 PC)

My airplay device (Speaker) is no longer compatible with iTunes after upgrade to 12.9.0.167

The speaker works without any error from my iPhone X (which was also upgraded to iOS12)

Airplay not working in iTunes 12.9.1.4 Just updated to latest version of iTunes (12.9.1.4) and now have lost the ability to play from laptop to our Sky Q boxes.My iphone can still cast to Sky ok, but in tunes on the laptop the airplay icon shows when you first start itunes but has no selectable options. As soon as you start playing a music track the airplay icon completely disappears.Is this a bug in the latest version?

Itunes no longer airplay compatible Hi,Just downloaded the latest version of itunes (12.9.14) and an error message says its no longer compatible with my airplay device; a denon media player DNP-720ae. This is my main source of home music...Can I presume this is an error that will be quickly rectified in an update? Surely apple wouldnt update itunes and instantly make devices all over the world obsolete with no warning..?Do I have to, and can I, revert to a previous version till this is fixed..?Hope someone can help!Bennett

I have this same issue, says my Philips AirPlay speaker is no longer compatible, like you I can also connect to it from my iPhone on iOS12, looks to be an iTunes bug. I can also connect it from my Mac (setting it as the default audio out device), issue only in iTunes.
