Problem with external display 4k@60hz on macOs Mojave

I'm experiencing a problem with my external display which is 4k LG display.

I'm using MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017), Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Core, Memory: 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3, Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB

To connect to the external display I'm using USB-C to HDM dongle from Belkin.

When playing with the settings I managed to get it working at 1920 x 1080 60hz for resolutions larger than that I get only 30hz non retina.

Example on what I'm getting when trying to use it at 60hz

You should write an email to Belkin, because it seems their adapters are not optimised for Mojave. I have an adapter from Delock USB-C to DVI 4K30hz and it's only showing a green monochromatic picture. Delock answered me saying their products do not work on Mojave (yet?). No idea from which side the solution may come. Apple with a future update of Mojave or the adapter companies with some kind of firmware update for their products. We'll have to wait it out, I guess.
