Thanks for the response...I'm skeptical of what the
apple manuals claim. I also read somewhere that the
batteries on the shuffle are cheap and easy to
replace yourself???
Not so... but AppleCare costs $39.
If anyone can chime in on their actual user
experiences, that would be great...
Ran mine down once by leaving it playing overnight after having used it for ~3hours after charging. Generally charge mine every three/four days (approximately 6-8 hours of use) with staus LED still green.
By the way, when I got my nano - I had to leverage
the Apple Warranty and get it replaced (3) times in
one year! Then again, I bought it the first day it
came out, so maybe there were some bugs when they
first released.
Like life, your experience may vary from that of others... On the other hand, I'm considering buying an Apple iPod FM Radio Remote but am concerned how it will affect the battery performance of my 1st Gen Nano
