Hi, trouble is that Intel Tiger Discs were all machine specific, so possibly, assuming it's an Intel Tiger Disc, then maybe installing it on a 2006
IntelMac, updating, then transferring/clon ing it over would work.

There's a small chance if you post the 2z691***** number of the disc I could find what Macs it is for.

You can not install an older system on a Mac than came with it.

Mac OS X 10.4.4 to 10.4.11 could only be installed on Intel Macs with the discs that came with the Mac in question, or shipped with the same release date and model of the Mac in question.

Retail Mac OS X 10.4.x discs are only able to be used with PowerPC Macs. MacBook Pros are all Intel.

If you need to update your MacBook Pro from 2007, Apple still has on its online store 10.6.3 retail. It skips 10.5 entirely, and takes you to the most commonly used system for MacBook Pros. This system can be updated free to 10.6.8.

To read more about that, see this tip:

Macs and Software that will run with Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6.x)
