macOS Mojave version 10.14 adds Adobe reader to dock

macOS Mojave version 10.14 adds Adobe reader to dock. Whenever I run Adobe Reader it loads as normal and after I quit it it stays in the dock - I do not want it in the Dock so how do I stop that.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Open System Preferences / Dock. There's a checkbox for Show Recent applications in Dock. Uncheck it.
