How to get chrome toolbar to disappear in full screen and reappear when I bring my mouse over it

I don't know how I changed my settings, but when I used to bring my Chrome window to full screen the toolbar, search, bookmarks, etc. would hide and my screen would be 100% the webpage. When I want to search or use a bookmark, I would bring my mouse to the top of the screen and the toolbar would instantly pop back up with no delay. Now when I enter full screen, the toolbar stays visible at all times, which I hate. I've tried hiding it again, but I can only figure out how to hide it permanently in full screen and only have it reappear in not-full screen. How can I get this to the way it was before, preferably without wiping out my settings to original?
