robo calls from my own cell #

I am receiving rob calls from what appears to be my own cell #. It's kind of scary....Is there any way to stop this from happening, or block the contact. I wouldn't;t think you could block your own phone #. I have read this is how the robot callers are getting around the spam filter. TIA
