Strange iOS 8 automatic update on MacOS

Hi, after connecting my iPhone 8 to my MacBook to sync some photos (still running High Sierra), I got a message, apparently from Finder, saying an update was needed. I had the chance to do it later, but name, description etc. were missing. Just the icon of my phone (similar to the one in iTunes) and the dialogue box popup.

What do you think about it?

Could it be a security problem?
