I am having the same issue. Sometimes when watching a YouTube video I notice that the sound is ONLY coming from the bottom of the phone, and no sound is coming from the earpiece. A simple reset fixes the issue, but still a problem. I'm assuming it's software related and will be fixed in an update.
It's new. Schedule an appointment with who you purchased it from. If they determine the phone is defective, it should be replaced.
