HT208972: If iTunes detects incompatible Bluetooth software on your computer

I followed the advice 'If iTunes detects incompatible Bluetooth software on your computer Some older Bluetooth software isn't compatible with iTunes on Windows', using Autoruns for Windows.

I found bttray.exe in Options Menu/Image Path column.

However, BtITunesPlugin.exe was not present, so I was not able to rename it to Old_BtITunesPlugin.exe.

Where does that leave me? How do I proceed from here? Any advice?

A workaround might be to exit the BTTray.exe Bluetooth utility if installed before launching iTunes. If feasible you could use Autoruns to prevent it launching at start up, assuming you're not reliant on it for controlling your computer.
