Finder issue on MacOS Mojave.

All of my finder windows open with the file preview on right (pictured in photo), I can collapse it, but its opens up again and again each time I open my finder. How do I turn this off for good across all finder windows?

iMac, macOS Mojave (10.14)

On the Menu while in Finder: View>Hide Preview.

Just go to the menu bar and click 'Hide file preview'
