Disabling anti-aliasing in Terminal, on Mojave?

Can anyone indicate how to disable anti-aliasing in the Terminal app on Mojave, since it is causing text to appear blurry on a MacBook Air?

Note, I did try the following, but this did not work for me:

defaults write com.apple.Terminal AppleFontSmoothing -int 1

MacBook Air, macOS Mojave (10.14)

Changing the font to Monaco solves the issue.

So it turns out the choice of font will have an impact. I had Menlo Regular preselected on Mojave and this apparently forces antialiasing to be forced on. Switching to Monaco solved this. I haven't played around with other fonts
