Terminal Preferences not saved (macOS 11.6.2)

When I change Preferences for new Terminal Windows (say, change the font and/or initial window dimensions) these changes do not "survive" a re-start of the Terminal app.

I know that these Preferences can be persisted since they are saved just fine on another Mac that I have.

I am having problems with an M1 Mac Mini running 11.6.2 with Terminal version 2.11 (440).

Possible solution. The owner and group on

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Terminal.plist

were incorrect on the "problem" Mac.

I have corrected those. It *seems* to work now, but I have only done a few minutes of testing.
