I want to better understand the active calories and other calories in the Move

What is the difference between Active Calories and Other Calories in the Move category?

Thank you for your response. I suspected that this was the case. I'm just a little puzzled by this. I worked yesterday. It was a mild work day, meaning, moderate amount of physical activity (walking, lifting, etc). So my results were, 929 active calories and 2,920 non-active calories. That seems like a lot of calories burned without activity! And, I would think that burning over 3,700 calories a day I would not have a weight issue.

Check your weight setting in the health app. I once had mine accidentally set to 165 “stones” instead of “pounds”, and my watch said I was burning 30,000 calls per day just moving around. A stone is 14 lbs, so my watch thought I weighed 1980 lbs, I would have to use a lot of calories just to move around.
