Beats Solo 3 Wireless, Unable to control volume w/Bluetooth Transmitter
HI. I had the Beats Solo 2 wireless and I used them for a year to watch TV. They were connected to a Bluetooth transmitter. They worked great except that there was latency... they didn't have the APTx feature so when people talk on tv, there is a slight delay before I hear it.
Anyhow, today I got the Beats Solo 3 wireless headphones and they sound great however... when connected to the very same Bluetooth transmitter... I am unable to control the volume on my headphones.
It's a single volume (too loud actually). But, I am unable to increase or decrease the volume on my headphones.
I did try resetting them via the Volume Down and Power button, then repaired to the Bluetooth transmitter, but that has not solved the issue.
I also connected them to my Laptop, went to the Beats website, downloaded the firmware/software updater app and confirmed that I have the latest software and firmware. This also, did not solve the issue.
I then paired to my phone and when paired to the phone, I was able to adjust the volume when listening to the music. Both by the volume up and down buttons on the headphones as well as the volume up and down using my phone.
I then rest the Solo 3 Wireless again, repaired to my Bluetooth transmitter which is connected to the TV via an audio cable and once again, i'm unable to adjust the volume control using the volume up and down on the headphones.
Any thoughts? Any help? I really don't want to return these but... there is no way I can lay in bed watching TV without volume control, without being able to turn the volume way, way lower.
Thanks
T
