Cannot netboot or Option-boot with T2 chip - how to deploy image to new machines in a large school district?

Just ran into my 1st new MacBook Pro 2018, Part # MR92R2LL/A, which has the T2 chip. We are aware, as a school district, that it is not possible, at least to our knowledge, as to how to netboot to our servers to deploy a district image, bind, etc, with this latest technology. Holding option at startup, brings up only the internal disk, but no other network disks are displayed. Holding N at startup just goes to the Welcome and setup screen of the new MacBook.

Have tried using the Cable Matters USB-C to Ethernet adapter straight to a wall port, as well as through a dumb switch.

Has anyone found a way around this yet?

MacBook Pro, macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)
