Itunes detects incompatible Bluetooth how to fix?

Tried old version, reinstalled current version of itunes neither worked.

On apple support page,

If iTunes detects incompatible Bluetooth software on your computer

Step 8 there is no

BtITunesPlugin.exe

Why would I contact my bluetooth company?? bluetooth works fine, this is an apple issue?

For the first time starting to regret my iphone purchase. Spent way, way too long trying to fix this already.

That said, any help appreciated.
