The certificate for this server is invalid

Hi,

I receive the message above, “The cerficate for this server is invalid”, whenever I try to access songs in the music app on my iPhone. What should I do about this issue?

‘SSL Error’ Alert on iPad My iPad keeps popping up with an alert that says “an SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made”. SSL error with car play I am having CarPlay issues. I get an error message on my car: "An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to server cannot be made." My phone will get the same error message. My phone is an 11 Pro Max and it's updated to 14.7.1 Is it the software? The phone? The car? Same thing happens with my husband’s phone while in the car - it’s an iPhone 8. I have OnStar and it’s WiFi. Help!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand from your post, your getting the certificate for this server is invalid error. I am happy to help!

Let's check the date and time on your iPhone to ensure they are correct.

Settings > General > Date & time - make sure it is correct and set it to automatically.
