Why I cannot change country when making imo account in iPhone?

It happens to me, because IMO dependence on the region of the app store, You can change the region to what ever you want then re download IMO

Make sure u go to app store then your account then Country/Region and change it to the desire country but make sure you uninstall IMO first

It still not working .. what did u do to solve the issue? Even changing the country from Apple ID still after remove imo and re download it still give me only one option - no change to the country why??

I redownloaded the app for like 10 times but it doesn’t let me change the country code from +1 at all.

I can’t change my country in imo app

i have same issue and when i go to change country in account settings, it says to spend my store credit balance first and then only i can change country. But this was not the case before update, i was able to download and install IMO with credit balance in account. Any help would be highly appreciated.
