How to render 4K at 60hz with 2013 model Mac Pro?

I have a late 2013 Mac Pro and a Samsung UE510 UHD 4K monitor.

I am connecting these two through a HDMI-2.0 cable.

However, I am only getting 2560 x 1440 @ 30Hz.

How am I able to get to 60Hz?

I talked to a support representative however she doesn't seem to have the knowledge. so posting here.

The built-in HDMI port on the Mac Pro 2013 is only a HDMI 1.4a capable port and as such can only do 4K at 30Hz.

If you had a Displayport monitor it can do 4K at 60Hz and it is also possible to get a Displayport to HDMI 2.0 adapter which can also do 4K at 60Hz.

Note: It needs to be an active adapter not one of the cheap passive adapters.
