Why only a few of us are reporting this problem? And it should be a major one, if it didn't work on any computer. Making news headlines.

I've got the same problem. Tried to paste an URL or type it in many times until it accepts it or even not at all.

Clearing the Safari cache and NVRAM reset didn't help for me.
