I can't open Facebook or Twitter using ANY browser on my MacBook Pro.

I have a 15" MacBook Pro RD from 2012.

Processor: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

It currently runs the latest macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, and it's still running very smoothly. The only issue is, for as long as I can remember, I can't get Facebook or Twitter to open in ANY browser. I've tried Safari, Chrome, Firefox. I've tried accessing them in incognito mode and/or with a VPN. I've tried using the Diagnostics Tool. Nothing has helped. Other social media sites like Instagram and Tumblr load just fine, but not Facebook and Twitter. The macOS version doesn't make a difference either. This MBP has gone through several software updates. I don't remember if it was like this when I first purchased it, but I have definitely had this problem for years.

I've tried asking friends, but no one has any idea. There is already another thread here from 2014 that asked the same question, but no one has responded to that. Please can someone help?
