MBP 2017 and Dell U2715H connection

Hi,

I'm looking for the best connection between MacBook Pro 13" 2017 (USB-C) and Dell U2715H monitor which has:

2x HDMI/MHL

1x DisplayPort

1x Mini DisplayPort

5x USB 3.1 Gen. 1 (USB 3.0)

1x USB 3.1 Gen. 1 Type-B (USB 3.0)

I found nice USB-C to DisplayPort Cable on Apple Store: Click

Two questions:

1. Will they work togheter?

2. Can I use these 5x USB 3.1 ports in Dell like a HUB? Will my MacBook Pro see this ports?

The problem is solved by buying different display. I found DELL S2719DC which has USB-C to USB-C connection, so you can do a few things with one cable!

- Charge your MacBook/Pro

- Get the screen (2560 x 1440 at 60Hz)

- Get extra ports without buying a HUB!!!

The display has 3 ports and you can use them as well.

1x USB 3.0 (downstream, supports up to 7.5W BC)

1x USB 3.0 (downstream)

1x Analog 2.0 Audio Line-Out (3.5mm jack)
