I either never received or have lost the cable that is to be used to recharge my 3 month old magic mouse for my new Mac desktop. Please tell me the proper size to purchase to replace it. thanks

The Lightning to USB cable does not need to be any specific size. It can be normal iPhone cable length of 1m. Or it can be the longer 2m version or even the shortest 0.5m version. The length is not important.
The one that comes packed with the mouse looks identical to one that would come with an iPhone.
