Battery Usage while lid closed

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13", Early 2015 model) bought in Fall 2016. Currently on Mojave, but noticed this issue on High Sierra.

Between 9/29/2018 @ 11:34 CT and 9/30/2018 14:08 CT, I lost 30% of my battery charge. The lid was closed. As far as I know, she was sleeping. I ran a 'pmset -g log' command and found a repeatable pattern. I this case 10% battery was lost in four hours. Any other diagnostics I can run to find this loss? Is there something below that is really suspect?

I reset NVRAM and SMC. No help there.

I created a new account per other guides I've seen. This was interesting. After I created the new account, I unplugged and let it sit overnight, at least 8 hours, and only 1% of battery was used. This is what I expect. When I created the new account, I did not sign in to iCloud. Then after that overnight, I signed into iCloud. Music, pictures, drive, etc. were all downloaded. Then I unplugged and let it sit for another 8 hours. When I opened in the morning, 10% of the battery was used. That's not what I expect.

I've got 2,000+ pictures and videos. I'm guessing my issue is this:

This can't be the penalty for using iCloud.
