Mojave issue: it logs me out in less than 30 seconds

Steps

-Run Mojave installer

result: Mojave install completed

-logon

-choose ”light”

-gets to finder screen

result: between 6 and 40 seconds latter the system logs me out (no matter what I’m doing

Tried:

-booting in safe mode (hold shift down while booting): same problem occurs

-cmd-opt-pr: no change

-reset smc: no change

-single user mode (man, the text is tiny on a retina display): I can navigate via command line. But, have no idea what to change to fix my problem (com.apple.universalaccess.plist was mentioned in a Sierra post with the same symptoms I think.)

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), macOS Mojave (10.14)

I found a solution with a google search:

(in my case it's the Razer Audio stuff causing the log out in less than 30 seconds)

-reboot in recovery mode (command-r)

-open terminal

-mount your main boot partition

diskutil list |grep <name of main volume>

diskutil mount /dev/<end of the line from the grep above>

change directories

cd /Volumes/<your volume name>/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL

ls -al

Look for Razer directory

then

rm -rf Raz<tab to autocomplete> (this deletes the Razer directory and all it contents)

quit terminal

reboot machine

Problem solved. (I'm typing this on my MacBook Pro 15" Mid-2014)
