Why is my battery draining faster with Mac OS Mojave?

So I've been using my computer on OS Mojave for a few days, but at nights after I leave it to rest, I wake up to a -20% change when I wake up. This seems to happen when it's asleep. This didn't happen in OS Sierra for me, any way to fix?

Good morning User11783!

Thanks for reaching out about the issue you're having with your MacBook battery draining when it's asleep. I'll be happy to help out.

You may have apps or services running even while the MacBook is asleep. First, take a look at the Energy Saver settings to see if there's some options here you can turn off to prevent the MacBook from using power when it's asleep: About Mac notebook batteries - Apple Support

The resource has some other helpful information that may help with your battery performance.

Take care.
