iPhone XS on Verizon

I bought a new iPhone XS from the Apple store. When I went to the Verizon website I have to check to see if the phone was compatible with their system. Surprisingly it is not. I was planning on using Verizon while in Florida so no idea what the problem is with Verizon or the iPhone. Anyone else run into this?

MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, macOS High Sierra (10.13.2), Time Capsule 3TB model

OK I think I finally have this resolved... I went to the Verizon site again. Typed in the number and said it was not compatible. Got ahold of support on Verizon and the first person said the phone was not compatible.... probably just did the same thing I did to check. Then she put me through to a higher up support guy. And he said the phone was compatible. So it appears there is something wrong with the location on the Verizon website where you type in the IMEI number.....

Phil0124 -- I'm not sure what the problem might be but note that with the iPhone Xs (unlike the iPhone 7 through X models) there are no GSM only phones. All iPhone Xs sold in the U.S. support both GSM and CDMA. See the Cellular and Wireless section of iPhone XS - Technical Specifications - Apple

Ahh, did not realize that. Thanks for the heads up.

In that case, then its likely a particular issue with Verizon, I guess. Not sure what else it could be then.
