After I close a tab, the audio keeps playing

I'm watching a video in Safari (eg. Youtube), but after I close that tab, the audio continues to play. I can right click on the mute button in the search bar to mute the audio, but that's a temporary fix.

MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

Weird safari bug with audio playback Hello everyone, i don't know if anyone has experienced this issue but, ever since i've upgraded to the very first public release of Monterey and onwards, i've had this safari issue going on but never got around to reporting it. I've noticed that whenever i have Safari open in the background and put my Mac on sleep, after i wake up my Mac and start playing a video on YouTube, the video plays normally but the audio of the video seems sped up by 5% or so (just enough to notice the pitch is up and the audio isn't aligning with the video). After a restart of Safari the issue disappears. Pretty strange bug...

Audio not coming on safari on all websites Audio on any websites such Netflix , primevideo , YouTube etc is not coming on MacBook pro m1 . I have checked whether tab is mute.

Have you tried stopping the video before closing the tab?
