imessages are merged with my brother
when my brother tries to message my mother, his imessages are showing up as if it was my phone. I am also seeing all of his messages. We are on ios 12. How can I fix this?

Yes, there has been a resolution for many years. As indicated above, stop sharing Apple IDs.
