Why aren’t iCloud email push notifications working?

on all devices, iPad Air 2

iPad Pro and iMac ( all are up-to-date on their software )

Beginning yesterday, I’ve noticed that my iCloud email accounts, ( main one and 2 aliases) No longer getting notifications when emails come to them.

I have it set for banners that temporarily show at the top, and the popcorn sound. On my work email, which is not an iCloud account, my notifications work perfectly.

iCloud email notifications stopped working two nights ago.

My work email uses fetch and those work fine. Work email is not iCloud ( push)

I’ve spoken to Apple at length about it and we tried just about everything, from the simple restarting one device while others were turned off ( their suggestion), to uninstalling the Mail app and reinstalling it, as well as backing up the iPad and setting it up as new.

The issue persists and they say it’s likely not iOS 12. They also said because it is across all my devices it is not likely that there is any corruption of the software.

I’ve been using iOS 12 three days after it came out so I don’t think iOS 12 is the problem. a he it’s a server issue?

Curious to who else has had this problem and if anybody has figured out a way to fix it. According to Apple‘s website, all services are working fine.

iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 12, iPad Air 2 Wifi
