I have an iphone X, i have installed for the lock screen the black wallpaper.
When i use face id in a dark room i have noticed that the wallpaper became a little bit grey.
I dont know if it is visible on the uploaded screens.
I noticed it with all the luminosity of the screen in a dark room.
Do you have night shift or true tone turned on?
Turn them both off and try again. They change the colortemp and look of the black
The black is not changing. The way you perceive it is changing. There is nothing wrong with the device.
