Keep Messages Only for Certain Contacts?

"Keep Messages" feature on Message: is there a way to designate certain contacts to keep for a different duration, and set a default for the rest? For example, keep Mom's messages for 30 Days but everyone else for One Year?

Hi,

There is no way to split them.

You could delete specific iMessages within a thread.

You can also do this collectively by using Shift Click or CMD and Click to select non consecutive items.
