I have macbook pro from 2015. OS X EI CAPITAN version 10.11.6 Processor 2.7GHz intel core i5.
i don't have any additional software other than the factory set up.
my problem is i am trying to submit my cv and resume on the company website but they don't accept it. they say format acceptable are doc, docx, htm, html, odt, pdf, rtf, txt
any help is highly appreciated. thankyou

You can also try opening the document in Preview, then Preview/File/Export as PDF.

"Print" your resume and choose Print to pdf file, and it will create a pdf for you.
Or ask your Word processor to save a copy as a Microsoft word file (.doc or .docx)
In addition to posting with the accepted file formats, the site may also place a size limit on the document too.
