iOS 12 does not recognize USB in BMW 2-series, 2017 model

My BMW USB functionality is not working after I updated to iOS 12 on my iPhone 7.

I have checked with another iPhone on iOS 11 and it works fine, so there is no problem with the car or connecting cable.
