Home Sharing; MacBook Pro can't see music on phone.

After puzzling through authorisations and so on, I though I had Home Sharing all sorted but still have an oddity. My iPhone can see all the music on my MacBook, but not vice versa. Both devices are on same Apple ID, and both authorised on Home Sharing, and both on same wi-fi network.

Any idea of a setting I might have missed?

Hi Trevor,

I think this is how the system is designed to work. Apple's description of Home Sharing contains this (emphasis added by me):

"Share and stream content from your computer's iTunes library to other computers, iOS devices, and Apple TVs."

This is pretty much in keeping with how iTunes has always worked: from the computer, to the device. Going the other way has always been tricky.
