Anyone tried restore in recovery mode (with iCloud backup but not with iTunes backup)? Some people say that it could work, but I'm too lazy to try it if it is not working. There is a similar thread for the iphone X: Iphone x SLOW and LAGGY

i compared my iphone XS max with galaxy note 9 very big differance .... the samsung was twice faster... i bought this iphone becouse i had the same problem with my iphone x but after a few day the same thing happent to my xs max...
we can just hope that apple will see this and fix this bug....
I’ve restored my XS max 64, 6 different times. I’ve tried everything from iCloud restores, iTunes, Dfu recovery mode, everything. But each time I do, the phone still has micro stuttering everywhere. It’s gotten really annoying but I don’t have a choice at this point since it’s been 2 months since I’ve had it. I’m at apples mercy I guess.
I restored through iTunes with iCloud copy (as I know that is the most hard restore of all the possible ways) and it still lags too. So what can we do now? How this forum actually works? I expected that there should be apple support, but I do not see any support here.
i had the same problem with my iphone x and after afew days the same thing with iphone xs max 256...
this is very disapointing!!!
what can we do to fix this problem???
My max is also laggy, I have the 64 but it’s frustrating that it’s slower than my previous phone (7 plus)
I agree my iPhone XS max 64GB is laggy as ****, it’s ******* me off.
My iPhone Xs Max (256iGB) s lagging too, I thought is due to the screen protector, is soooo frustrating, worst than my iPhone 6!
I have the same lags too - the most of them occure with home UI and different maps apps.
