iPhone XS Max turns off by itself and needs reboot to turn back on every time.

I received my iPhone XS max yesterday in the mail and right after turning it on I saw this problem. Whenever my iPhone goes to sleep for a few seconds it shuts down and can not be turned back on without a force restart. This happens every time it goes to sleep. I’ve tried updating, restoring, reseting settings, and erasing it but the problem is consisten. Other than that there are no other problems and the iPhone works fine as long as the screen stays on, but obviously I can’t keep using it like this. Am I going to have to replace it?

I finally went to the apple store and they replaced my phone with a brand new one. The employee that was helping me was very kind and said it must have been a problem with the phones buttons or the DFU mode. Apple wanted the phone to be sent to them to improve on phones in the future instead of it being scraped so it must have been a unique problem. Overall I was happy that I got a new replacement and the people at the apple store couldn’t have been nicer.
