flashing folder when updating to Mojave

Hello,

I have MacBook Pro touch bar 2016, and when I try to update my os to the new Mojave, I am getting the flashing folder with question mark, seems like the system is not recognizing the startup disk, however when install other OS e.g., Sierra or high Sierra it's working fine, it only happens when I update to Mojave.

Can someone guide me and help me , I really want that dark UI 🙂

I’m not sure why your Mac is only having issues with upgrading to Mojave, especially if it meets all of the minimum requirements. It may have an underlying hardware issue that you may not be aware of.

At this point you can either try a “clean” install using Recovery mode or try creating a bootable installer USB stick.

thank you for your reply, but I've tried all the possible ways to get rid of that flashing question mark folder, the references you've shared contains the steps or information which I've already done or practiced.

Can you assist me with any other solution?
