Compatibility, Photoshop Elements 9

Does anybody have any info as to whether or not this will work if I upgrade from Sierra to High Sierra?

If it doesn't, is it still worth upgrading to iron out the Sierra glitches, at the extra expense of a new Photoshop?

Thanks for any help

Yep, very out of date, hence the question, but... it does what I need it to do, and it's another 100 quid for a newer one, which I could do without. When I put an SSD in my MBP, Snow Leopard was wickedly fast. When I upgraded to Sierra, not so much. Mail freezing problems, Browsers much slower, Chrome and Safari. YouTube is very glitchy since upgrading to Sierra. Not major problems, but nice if they weren't there. Just wondered if it's worth upgrading to if I'm going to fork out for a few Photoshop.

Thanks, it's a 2011 MBP with upgrade to 8GB RAM from 4GB, and an Samsung 860 SSD.

Only had the problems with Sierra. So thinking that maybe 8 isn't enough. I did have lightning speed with that and new SSD on Snow Leopard. And stupidly expected the same kind of reaction with Sierra.

Thanks Viking, yeh I saw that, It's amazing nobody has given a yes or no, that's why I asked the question on here actually. Surprised it didn't mention it, because it does show it works on Sierra. But nobody has passed comment on that at all. If High Sierra is a big improvement, then I'd probably invest in the 2018 version
