Why is the emoji button on the bottom left hand corner of the iPad keyboard. It’s the second one in on the iPhone keyboard, so it’s frustrating that the two Apple keyboards don’t mirror each other. I’m sure it’s only moved since the last update. can I move to be the second one in, and return the .?123 key in its place?
Apple seems to have made arbitrary changes to the keyboard layout. As to whether this is deliberate or bad coding, we don’t know. There is no method to change the location. You can offer Apple feedback at: Feedback - iPad - Apple
Not sure why they changed this, it’s very annoying.
Go to Settings - General - Keyboard and then Keyboards. Click edit and then delete the Emoji keyboard.
Thanks. What’s weird is that they left the 123 key in the bottom left on the iPhone. There is a lack of consistency which is really causing the confusion. Rid
